I stayed in a spacious single room with a beautiful four-poster bed and it was very affordable, plus its proximity to Senlac Hill was fantastic for exploring.

The superior queen room with good wifi had all necessary amenities. The hotel was placed in the very central location right in the centre of town.

Welcoming service, even though a few employees were very rude. The room was big size with good size bathroom when I arrived. Interior was convenient. The hotel's location was excellent, near to the center of the village, friendly people and best price and the centre of Battle 2 minutes walk from Battle Abbey.

Charming and traditional vibes at this place, and the staff are super friendly. the breakfast is served at a bakery nearby ☕.

However, the big window opening onto the fire escape made me a bit anxious about leaving it open while I was sleeping or out of the room. There was also a stain on the carpet that looked like it could have been caused by a cat throwing up, and the handle on the toilet flush was a bit wobbly. Despite these minor issues, the receptionist was friendly and helpful, and I appreciated having tea and coffee facilities in the room. I would recommend this hotel for an overnight visit if you don't plan on spending much time there.

It has marvellous and lovely location to see Battle Abbey and Battlefield. The rooms are exceptionally clean with large bathrooms.
